Peaceful, riverfront house,completely equipped for self-catering. From its terrace,with an east-west orientation, the house enjoys sunrises and sunsets over the Lot River. Amenities include Satellite TV/VCR; English and French books, Videos, CD's. Linens and towels are provided.
Shops and all services are within a 5-minute walk. A path leads to the river for miles of walking or biking enjoyment(2 bicycles available). A guided riverboat tour is 200 yards away. The historic castles of Bonaguil and Biron are within a short drive. The Cro-Magnon prehistoric caves & the longest underground river of Europe (boat trip available)are both "incontournables". Quaint middle age villages, rated in the top five "prettiest of France, including St. Cirq la Poppie, Sarlat, Roque Gageac, Rocamadour, etc. are all within a two-hours' drive. Wonderful regional cooking not to be missed at nearby restaurants as well as the "best Peking soup and spring rolls in Aquitaine"
